Actor Expo is entering its 5th year in 2012 and we continue to grow and develop as the UK’s largest event for actors.

Wow, we can’t believe what an amazing day it was on Saturday at the 5th Actor Expo event.
It’s hard to believe that we started in 2008 and have now arrived at this wonderful point in the UK Acting Industry, where we are a regular date on the acting calendar!

THANK YOU to every one who came and took part.
From the exhbitors, the visitors, the class speakers, the VIP guests and the wonderful Actor Expo Crew!
None of it would ever work without all of you contributing to the magic mix.

I spoke to so many visitors who were having a wonderful, productive, useful day at the expo and left feeling motivated and inspired. That’s what we are hear for.

We create an environment where you are around other people who also want to progress and move their career forward.

Thank you ALL for coming and being a part of it. We can’t wait to see you next year.

We are really pleased to announce that for the first time ever in the UK, a selection of Actor Expo Classes are to be streamed live on the internet.

This is exciting news because if you cannot be at the event in person you can still take part by watching it online AS IT HAPPENS, or watch it later when you have free time. Or just watch it again, because it was awesome and you want to relive the moment.

The recorded footage will be of selected seminar speakers, as it happens, so you can hear what is said, without being there!

The Actor Expo Event on Sat Nov 5th at The Camden Centre is a trade-show set up for Actors in all phases of their career. From Beginners to graduates through to Professional working actors.

TRADESHOW
By default, this event is a Tradeshow, which means we are a show that ‘trades’ and we cannot escape the fact that yes, companies attend our show to sell/promote their goods and services to our visitors.
That’s what a tradeshow is.

If you were to attend the Home Show or the Health and Vitality tradeshow – there are exhibitors who try to sell you things. That’s just what a tradeshow does, no escaping that.

We are not a ‘convention’ nor are we an ‘Arts Ehxhibition’ – We always have been a tradeshow and have never misled people to think otherwise. In the past I have heard comments that actorexpo has been set up just to sell actors stuff.
That is 1/10th of the whole picture.

Our ultimate goal is to help actors as much as we can.

Top tips for getting the most out of the show
1. Book a class. They are seriously good & motivating, you’ll surprise yourself how good they are.
2. Plan your day in advance!
3. Use the networking area to talk and meet new people.
Casting directors and film funders sit there too (we know that for a fact)!
4. Use Facebook and Twitter to arrange meet ups at the show with ppl you’ve been talking to online.
