Laurence discovered her love for cooking at a tender age. After graduating from the New England Culinary Institute, she first honed her chef abilities in two Michelin-rated eating places in Les-Baux-de-Provence, France and the popular Zuni Cafe in San Francisco. Her pastime for teaching about food and cooking led her to simply accept a teaching position on the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, where she prompt skilled culinary scholars all the way through the day and residential cooks within the evenings.
